Nylex™ Shock Absorber – Optimising Load Control
The Nylex™ shock absorber is an elastic nylon rope designed to effectively limit peak load during operations. Available in two robust constructions—conventional 8-strand or the more advanced double-braided 32-strand—this rope provides flexibility and strength where it’s needed most.
In compliance with DNV regulations, the breaking strength of the Nylex™ shock absorber is required to be 1.5 times that of the main towing line, ensuring reliable protection and performance in even the toughest conditions.
